"Understanding the Carbon Cycle: Processes, Human Impacts, and Strategies for...MMariSelvam4
The carbon cycle is a critical component of Earth's environmental system, governing the movement and transformation of carbon through various reservoirs, including the atmosphere, oceans, soil, and living organisms. This complex cycle involves several key processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition, and carbon sequestration, each contributing to the regulation of carbon levels on the planet.
Human activities, particularly fossil fuel combustion and deforestation, have significantly altered the natural carbon cycle, leading to increased atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations and driving climate change. Understanding the intricacies of the carbon cycle is essential for assessing the impacts of these changes and developing effective mitigation strategies.
By studying the carbon cycle, scientists can identify carbon sources and sinks, measure carbon fluxes, and predict future trends. This knowledge is crucial for crafting policies aimed at reducing carbon emissions, enhancing carbon storage, and promoting sustainable practices. The carbon cycle's interplay with climate systems, ecosystems, and human activities underscores its importance in maintaining a stable and healthy planet.
In-depth exploration of the carbon cycle reveals the delicate balance required to sustain life and the urgent need to address anthropogenic influences. Through research, education, and policy, we can work towards restoring equilibrium in the carbon cycle and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

Characterization and the Kinetics of drying at the drying oven and with micro...Open Access Research Paper
The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.
UNDERSTANDING WHAT GREEN WASHING IS!.pdfJulietMogola
Many companies today use green washing to lure the public into thinking they are conserving the environment but in real sense they are doing more harm. There have been such several cases from very big companies here in Kenya and also globally. This ranges from various sectors from manufacturing and goes to consumer products. Educating people on greenwashing will enable people to make better choices based on their analysis and not on what they see on marketing sites.

Your Name: Bui Tuan Anh
Keuka ID#: 304022
Class: VISK2012B
Team: Logistics Name of Project: IHonor
1. Self-evaluation
1. What did you personally do to help prepare for the IHonor project?
I am in logistic team so we have a lot of thing to do. I prepare brooms and garbage dustbins.
Then my teammate Huy takes them to the monument. In addition, I also supply drinking-
water for all class and volunteers.
2. What did you personally do during the IHonor project?
Firstly I listened to my mission when managers of Ihonor noticed. After that, I burned
incense, cleaned gravestone and cut grass. Besides that, I helped other team in order to
complete their mission such as: burning incense for other gravestone… When finishing
project, I delivered big megaphone from the monument to the initial position.
2. 2. Reflection on the IHonor project
1. What worked well about this project?
The project finishes the best. People feel proud and formal. The veterans see that the war go
through but young generation still miss their service for the country.
2. What did not work well?
We do not have experience for preparing before that. We have some mistakes in the show in
which big megaphone has problem and some people do not know word of the song singed.
3. Were there any surprises on the day of the project?
Absolutely I surprised when I know that Prof.Lynn’s father was the soldier who served the
country in War World II. Prof.Lynn who, seemed to make sense the hurts of war reminds us
of the veterans and the peaceful life. When I saw a little bit of the tears from Prof.Lynn, I
really felt touching. No matter where you live, we always have to respect soldiers,
understand dangerous effect of the war and meaning of the peace.
4. How did IHands Company perform on the IHonor project?
Understanding the important role of what we are doing, IHand Company always tried the
best in order to contribute to the service community. Right now this was the grateful time to
the country when we prepared to graduate. We invited Prof.Lynn , Prof.Stacey, Ms.Hoa and
the veterans to take part in IHonor project. In addition, we prepared some people to
translate for Prof.Lynn and Prof.Stacey. We also divided each team in order. With
professional style of work, we saved time about 1 hour and make people satisfy.
5. How do you think you are improving in your work?
3. After I finish IHonor project, I understand my teammate more and more. I can be self-
confidence to corporate with them as well as anybody. I am always ready to help anyone
who is working in other team. I realize that my work is contributing for the society and
anyone in myself position will do that too.
6. How did you feel when we finished the IHonor project?
Once I experience one project, I feel happiness and sadness. Happiness is that we working
hard but it is one way to be grateful to our country partly. Sadness is that the time reduces
more and more. We will always keep smile and support each other to finish all successful
project.
