INCREASED ENROLMENT
Learning to read and write is a basic and fundamental human right of every
child, and lays the foundation for future learning.
How does Australian aid create education
opportunities?
POSITIVE CLASSROOMS
Child-friendly learning spaces are vital, so children are excited to come to
school and have access to all the resources they need.
BREAKS THE CYCLE
Education is the most powerful tool we have to lift communities out of
poverty – it means better jobs, higher incomes, and more opportunities

12. RELATED INITIATIVES
• BRAC Strategic Partnership Arrangement: Australia's
Strategic Partnership Arrangement 12with BRAC and
the UK Government is an innovative approach to
delivering aid through non-government organizations.
It provides BRAC with the flexibility to allocate funds
from its development partners in areas of agreed
priority. Through this partnership BRAC delivers basic
education to approximately 180,000 students annually
(60 per cent female) in rural and urban areas. These
students are from extremely poor families who without
this support may well not have access to an education.

14. CONNECTING WITH NEP-2010
• One aim of the government is to eradicate poverty of the country by making the
students eligible to understand things scientifically, understand their situation and
providing with better understanding towards economy. AusAid focuses on
teaching the poor and marginal level students to make them sensible towards the
economy and making them ready for eradicating poverty.
• An aim of the government is to create an environment where there is gender
equality and providing education for all. Ausaid focuses on teaching this way,
creating environment or providing budget, scholarship in such a way that both
male and female get to have education.
11/14/2019
14
15. CONTINUED
• The government’s one goal is to create educational environment for the people
who cannot get education because of poverty or the students who drop out.
AusAid focuses on teaching the students who have dropped out or need financial
help to achieve education
• One goal focuses on giving education towards the physically challenged people
who have not been able to get education, engage into education. AusAid focuses
on giving them education or creating opportunity for the people who have not
attained any school program at all.
11/14/2019
15
16. CONTINUED
• One Goal focuses on providing education to the areas where the students do not
have the benefits of other areas, in other words, the students of remote areas.
AusAid, with the help of BRAC, is trying to provide education to the distant areas
and thus can help the population of our country to achieve education.
• Creating a society where education achieving will not be focus on some people,
some classes and the education will be the focus of the people of all classes and
all ages is another goal of our government. It is hard for our country because of
the poverty and thus AusAid is trying to give financial help towards the poor
classes to give them chance to achieve education equally.

16
17. THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN INCLUSIVE AND
EQUITABLE EDUCATION FOR ALL
• Their main objectives for our country is to improve education access, equity,
efficiency and learning outcome. And SDG-4’s main theme is to ensure inclusive
and equitable quality education and provide life long learning opportunities for
all. This shows that how much reliable and logical their objective is.
• Their another objective is to building economic resilience by reducing
vulnerability and improving inclusion in growing economy. This is logical in this
way that if there is economic stability, then the people will focus on more
education and work towards gaining education
11/14/2019
17
18. CONTINUED
• Their contribution towards the students of rural areas focuses that they are trying
to ensure education for the students who are not getting proper education. They
are trying to give scholarship towards them, make them eligible in taking
education. They are doing it with the help of BRAC and government. Thus, this
seems very much logical.
• Not only they can contribute in education, they can contribute to economy and
thus can ensure proper education for all. And can ensure that money will not be a
problem for the people while taking education.
• And they are focusing on the remote areas, the students who have dropped out
and physically challenged people. They are focusing on every aspect.
11/14/2019
18
19. CHALLENGES
• The funds may not be sufficient to provide economic support to every aspect
• Many rural areas may not be reached
• The data may not be interpreted correctly to find out all the people who may
need help.
• Only government’s and BRAC’s help may not be sufficient for proper distribution
of the education and scholarship programs.
11/14/2019
19
20. OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
• AusAid should work more with other big NGOs and should make the government
understand the usefulness of their program.
• AusAid should focus on investing their budget wisely and focus on how their
budget is used. The organization should focus that the money is used correctly.
• If possible, the funds may be increased.
