dissatisfaction.
 Handicap in understanding the symbolic
expression,verbalism,etc.
 External barriers:
 Polluted environment.
 Noise and other similar distractors.
 Invisibility.
 Physical discomfort.
 Improper functioning of communication
channels.
 External barriers:
 Non cooprative and unhealthy rivalries
and competitions among participants.
 Lack of proper motivation,incentive,and
enthusiasm needed to remain active.
 Verbal communication:
The base of verbal communication is
language.
Language can make use in three forms
1) Oral
2) Written
3) Oral and written
 Non-verbal communication:
 Facial expression.
 Eye contact.
 Gestures ,posture and movement.
 Voice and sounds.
 Smell and touch.
 Audio media:
Communication through radio,tape
recorder and speakers etc.
 Visual media:
Communication through
charts,diagrams and graphs etc.
 Audio-visual media:
Combination of audio and visual media.
 Multi sensory media:
Include five senses(smell,hear,touch,sight
and taste)
 Mass media:
Communication with the masses radio
t.v, newspaper ,books and email etc.
