100 Humans: what would you do if you weren't afraid?
https://youtu.be/m7Btde7e7Hs
If I weren’t afraid:
• I would go bungee jumping.
• I would swim to an island and scuba dive.
• I would go skinny dipping.
• I would explore everywhere by myself.
• I would confess to the girl I like.
• I would have started my own company by now.
• I would not study what I am studying now.
• I would study something in the arts instead.
• I would definitely try to be a musician.
• I would love to be a fashion designer.
• I would travel whilst I work.
• I would be a pilot.
• I would really like to do humanitarian work overseas somewhere.
What are you afraid of?
• I am afraid because I could fail.
• I am afraid to do something super cool but have people think it’s
horrible.
• I'm afraid to do the things I want today, no tomorrow.
• I am afraid to enjoy the life in this short time.
• I think the biggest fear that I have is of myself.
• My fear is not fulfilling my purpose here on earth.
• I think everybody is afraid some stage to do these things they
don’t.
3. Level 7 – Class 3
Beyoncé - If I were a boy (https://youtu.be/SHsra2h7rVk)
• How could you link this topic with this song?
I think that due to the gender of the singer and the title of the song, it
completely links with the study's topic because a woman cannot be
a man, which is an imaginary condition and exactly describes the
study's topic that is Present Unreal Conditional.
• What can you say about the accent?
For me, it’s American English accent by the pronunciation in this case
the word “wanted” because most of the time, Americans drop the T
in this word.
• What is peculiar in second conditional sentences?
The connector word “if”.
• What is that separate the first sentence and second sentence in
second conditional?
Depend, if the sentence begins with If clause, it’s separates by the
punctuation mark “comma” but it begins with result clause it’s
separates by “if”-

past.

o This condition is impossible because it’s in the past and we
cannot change the past.
