3. USE OF THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS
The "present continuous" is used to:
 1. Actions that are being done at the same moment as spoken
example
I am driving
estoy conduciendo
 2. Cyclical situations in a defined period of timeam
Example
I am getting up early this month
me estoy levantando pronto este mes

4. CONSTRUCTION OF THE GERUND
As a general rule to form the gerund in English is added "-ing".
Although considerations must be taken into account:
Gerund in verbs ending in -ie
The ending "-ie" is replaced by "-ying".

5. CONSTRUCTION OF THE GERUND
Gerund in verbs ending in -e
The final "-e" is replaced by "-ing".

6. CONSTRUCTION OF THE GERUND
 Bending of the final consonant in the formation of the gerund
Numerous verbs double their final consonant for formal the gerund:
In order to perform the folding, these 3 conditions must be met:
1. Let the word end in a single consonant (other than r, w, x or y) [example: set]
2. Let the last consonant be preceded by a single vowel. [Example: let]
3. That the word be monosyllable or that the accent falls on the last syllable or that the word ends in "L"

7. AFFIRMATIVE FORM OF THE PRESENT
CONTINUOUS
The structure of the present continuous in English is simple:
[SUBJECT] + am / are / is (verb to be) + [VERB WITH -ING (gerund)]

you are singing tú estás cantando
he is singing él está cantando
we are singing nosotros estamos cantando
you are singing vosotros estáis cantando

8. NEGATIVE FORM OF THE PRESENT
CONTINUOUS
Denial with full verbs (ie non-modal and non-auxiliary) is very simple:
[SUBJECT] + am / are / is (verb "to be") + not + [VERB WITH -ING (gerund)]
Note: It is customary to contract the verb "to be" and "not"

To construct the interrogation you simply have to reverse the order of the subject and the verb to be:
