Successes
❖ Launching my Wix website!
❖ Once set my site up, the reaction
from students was great. They
really liked the activity, were
engaged and I was comfortable
knowing exactly where each link
took them.
❖ Using Twitter
❖ I never understood the concept of
twitter and quite frankly thought it
was silly. Once I joined and began
actually using the site, I loved it! It
was great learning from others and
having so much up to date
information and at my fingertips
❖ Pinterest
❖ I may be addicted to Pinterest! I
really enjoyed using it to gain ideas
and try new things, especially for
teaching.

Challenges
❖ Setting up my Wix website!
❖ It was very time consuming
navigating on how to set up the
site initially but once I got the
hang of it it was fairly easy.
❖ Using Diigo
❖ I found that adding tags onto
my saved sites did not appear
as I wanted them to and thus
made it harder to keep it
organized. I also really enjoyed
the visual board of Pinterest
and realized that the majority of
the sites I was saving on Diigo
could be just as easily saved to
Pinterest.
9. Online Learning
❖ I have taken several online courses and really enjoy
them. Initially I did not think that I would enjoy them
because I enjoy collaborating with others. However, I
have found that I am still able to interact and learn from
others through courses like this one.
❖ This particular course was wonderful. It pushed me
outside of my comfort zone by joining Twitter, creating a
website and learning about new online tools for both my
personal and professional uses.
