She’s like a child’s hero but there’s parts were she’s nude in the video. She also makes sexual gestures during the video.
Lyrics
“I came in like a wrecking ball” “I never meant to start a war, I just wanted you to let me in” meaning she never aimed to fight and
started arguments she just wanted to be accepted and loved.
Tempo
Its starts off slow and calm at first. Then getting around 30 seconds into the song it kicks and drops with a load fast tempo.
Genre
I think this songs genre is POP mainly because it is aimed at the younger generation.
Camera Technique
At the start they use an extreme close up shot to show the vocalists face. They also use a mix of Close up shot, wide shots
Editing
Montage is used of multiple clips of the wrecking ball smashing down the wall. There is a cutaway shot from Miley Cyrus’s face to
the ball hitting the wall.
Use of digital effects
I don’t think many effects were used during this video. Besides upgrading her appearance using technology.
