1. Dear Parents,
We are establishing a behavior systemin our classroom. I amhoping this will make the
students more accountable for the behaviors they should be demonstrating in our school.
Every day the students will starton green (Ready to Learn). If the students are not making
good choices they will haveto movetheir color to yellow, then orange, and finally red. But if
the studentis going aboveand beyond in behavior, they can movetheir color to purple(Above
and Beyond). Throughoutthe day the students will havethe opportunity to move their color
back to green or above if they are showing good behavior. At the end of the day if the students
are on yellow, orange, or red; I will write you a note telling you whatthe child did to earn that
color. Here are the colors and whatthey mean:
Blue: Awesomebehavior
Purple: Good Behavior on track
Green: everyonestarts here - Ready to Learn
Yellow: Warning – Think about it
Orange: parent note or loss of privileges
Red: phone call home
Please signif you agree withand understandthe newbehavior system.
