2. The digipak on top is our digipak, and the one below is an
official digipak for Rihanna’s album ‘loud’. Comparing our
digipak to the official one, you can see how we have followed
digipak conventions when creating it. We have kept our colour
scheme (black, white and red) consistent across all panels of the
digipak, which is shadowed in the official one where the colour
scheme of blue, white and red is carried across all panels. We
also made sure that we included close ups of our artist like the
official one does. Both digipaks are for pop/pop ballad albums,
and you can see how both fit with this theme due to the flowers
seen on both. We also followed conventions by ensuring that we
had the artist name and album name just like the official one
does, and we also included a track list and a barcode like an
official one would have.
3. The advert at the top is our magazine advert, and the one
below is the official advert for Rhianna’s album ‘Loud’(the
same album as the digipak on the previous slide). Comparing
our advert to the official one, you can see how we have
followed magazine advert conventions by having a photo of
our artist, along with the name, name of the album, and the
release date, just as the official one has. We have also followed
our colour scheme of red, black and white onto our advert,
just as the Rihanna advert has. However, we also have
additional information on our advert that the official one
doesn’t have, for example the production company and the
social media, as well as some reviews, however these are still
conventions of a magazine advert.
