 During the research process I we analysed
different types of music videos, CD covers
and Digi packs.The reason we analysed this
was so that we can get some influence of the
products that already existed and see how
you analyse them in RnB genre.
Both the women in
the RnB sing in the
microphones in a
professional studio.
This is quite common
in some music video
as it is very direct
and personal with
audience
Both in my single cover and the existing product they both have simple design with
only the name and song name as the only text on the page. Mainly this is done
because the artist is established so do not need much detail, but is a convention that
runs throughout all RnB covers. Another convention is how they both looking
straight and directly at the camera to the audience so it is personal.
• The magazine adverts are both also very similar as they have the CD
cover on the top half, with the bottom half having different selling
points which would make the customers buy.
