demographicinformationforourtargetaudience.
By usingpage 105, whichshowedabasic chart of the typesof filmsthatthe general publiclike to
watch.Form thisinformationwe discoveredthatourchosengenre hasa mainstreamaudienceas
50% of people enjoywatchingthem.Thistellsusthatwe will have awide-rangingtargetaudience
and that our filmwill needtoappeal toa large targetaudience.
We thenusedpage 106 to findout the demographicsof ourgenre.Thispage isabout the typesof
filmthatthe general publictypicallyenjoywatch.We firstlookedatgenderandage.The
informationinformedusthatourprimarytarget audience ismalesover35 as the percentage was
62%. The secondarytargetaudience ismalesunder35as itwas 57%. We thenlookedatsocial class
whichtoldus we are aimingfor C1 and C2 whichhas the percentages52% and54%.
2. Afterthat we usedpage 117 to lookat what isthe general public’sfavourite genre of films. This
graph on page 117 is more specificthanthe graphon page 106 as it makespeople chose onlyone of
the many genresastheirfavourite.Thiswouldhelpustoclarifythe specifictargetaudience thatwe
needtoaim our filmat. We lookedatgenderandage firstwhichtoldus that the primaryaudience
wouldbe malesunder35 as theyhad a percentage of 37%. The secondarywouldbe malesover35
as theirpercentage was25%.
3. In conclusion,aftercomparingthe datafromall 3 pagesof the documentwe have decidedthatour
primarytarget audience ismalesover35and our secondaryismalesunder35. The social classis
alsomiddle classandwe will be lookingata mainstreamaudience.
