6. Sharepoint Project Overview
Team E was hired as a consultant team to
provide ISS with a COTS (commercial off the
shelf) solution to meet the company’s short and
long-term objectives.
Company leaders recognize that enterprise tools
such as SharePoint 2007 enable an organization
to achieve unprecedented efficiencies in
communications.
7. Scope of Project
Implement MS SharePoint Sever to distribute training
modules to company employees sponsored by the HR
department.
Install and integrate SharePoint within ISS’s enterprise.
Provide original copies of all project documentation to the
office of Integrated System Solution’s CIO.
Develop and implement a security plan for the
implementation.
Develop and document a plan that demonstrates the steps
that have to be executed to scale SharePoint for use across
the ISS enterprise and to ensure that the system remains
reliable and secure beyond the scope of this project.

1. Develop capability for geographically disbursed company
teams to engage with corporate training program modules
from any location with an internet connection
