2. Twisted Pictures
Twisted pictures is an independent film production company.
They are low budget and have worked with past horror movies that have some link with ours.
Twisted Pictures had a wide release for most movies including the Saw films which was also global
which we intend of doing, but they had two films which had a limited release which were Chain Letter
and Repo! The Genetic Opera.
We would also intend to have a theatrical and digital release, which Saw had also. This way we can
reach all of our wide audience and ensure everyone can watch our horror movie.
They would help us gain the attention from our audience with trailers and possible video games as
they did for Saw. This will help us as our main audience is male and they typically play video games
more than women.
3. Twisted Pictures produced movies such as Saw and Texas Chainsaw
3D.
The Saw movies were very successful and the demographic of those
who watched Saw was very similar to our target audience.
Both audience profiles are similar as they are both of a similar age
which is 22-39,
the are both male and enjoy the horror genre.
4. Texas Chainsaw 3D was another successful movie produced.
At the box office they had grossed $47,241,945 worldwide.
Also for Texas Chainsaw they had released a 20 inch leather
face action figure which was a good way to promote the film and
stretch the target audience.
5. Grizzly Pictures
Grizzly pictures is our own distribution company, We had based this off of
‘Ghosthouse pictures’ because Ghosthouse pictures distributes horror movies such
as Evil dead and The Grudge. We think that another movie with a similar feel to ours
is Seven so we believe this could also be distributed by the same company.
Grizzly pictures has put on a screening of our film in a local cinema called Screen on
the green, this screening has allowed us to have an approach which allows us to
draw a local audience.
6. Grizzly Pictures
Putting our opening sequence on vimeo allows us to expand and reach out to a wider
audience and reaches our target audience easier. The fact that it is on the internet means
that it can be distributed between more people and shared between other groups of people
much easier, this leading to greater acknowledgments of our film, creating a better chance of
success and higher revenue.
The release of the DVD means that our audience can reach a copy of our film easier and
those who don’t use the internet as often will still be able to watch our film and enjoy it.
Our distributor will use social media such as a Twitter page which is popular with all age
ranges and it will branch out through other pages to try and advertise using the storyline. For
example it will branch out to popular teenager sites and try to gain their interest.

And a website linked with it.
Other distribution companies have used this method of advertising through social media such
as Paranormal Activity
