Re: Letter of Recommendation for Lyndon Beharry
To Whom It May Concern:
It is with a great pleasure that I have been asked to write this letter on behalf of Mr.
Lyndon Beharry. I have known him both as a colleague and a head of the Language
and Didactics Center (LDC), German Mongolian Institute of Resources and Technology
(GMIT). Lyndon has worked as an English teacher at LDC of GMIT from 2014-2017.
Lyndon has numerous skills that make him stand out as being one of the best teachers
I have ever met. He has that rare combination of expertise in the sciences, language
teaching and the ability to motivate students. His lessons are always at the right level
interesting, and at the same time, effective at improving our students’ English
proficiency. For that reason, he is popular among students. He has taught English at
all levels from B2 to C1 and elective courses - “World History” and “Literature and
Film”. In addition he also taught Technical English intensive courses for industries.
As an administrator, I have also found Lyndon a pleasure to work with. He is self-
directed and yet cooperative. He is also innovative. He initiated a “Biodiesel Project” –
the first student managed project which helped students gain a certain experience and
exposure to practical aspects of engineering. This entire project gave students an
insight to entrepreneurial mode of thinking.
Lyndon is also one of the teachers who introduced a unit for Student and Intercultural
Affairs at GMITwhich has become an integral part of the Academic Affairs of GMIT and
its weekly events among GMIT students and staff are greatly appreciated by the
university.

I also had the pleasure of serving with Mr Beharry on various Committees including
Research Committee and a Task Force for Teaching Evaluation. He had been an
important, effective and integral part of our management team. In management
meetings, he actively participated and was quick to offer suggestions to solve various
issues facing from time to time.
When you considering hiring a new personnel, I would encourage you to consider
Lyndon. I am very confident that he will prove to be supportive and effective member
in your organization.
If you need any further information about Mr. Beharry, please do not hesitate to
contact me.

SUBJECT: Recommendation for Mr. Lyndon Beharry
I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Lyndon Beharry from August 2009 until June 2011 at
the American School of Ulaanbaatar (ASU). ASU is a prekindergarten through twelfth grade,
multicultural, English immersion school. ASU follows the Ontario, Canada curriculum. Lyndon
taught geography, history, civics, economics, business studies and computers to Middle and
High School students in grades 6 through 12. Lyndon is an excellent teacher, helpful colleague
and extremely reliable person.
Lyndon’s enthusiasm for teaching and knowledge of both elementary, middle and high school
social studies and computer subject areas are an asset to any school. We are a school of limited
resources, with a student population of approximately 90% ESL students. To have an individual
that can offer differentiated classes is of great importance to our school. Lyndon is flexible and a
team player. Lyndon has excellent classroom management skills and superior rapport with his
students, parents, staff and administrators. Lyndon is a dedicated teacher, donating his time and
experience. He is bursting with integrity and is a special model for his students. He is the one
that would always volunteer with a smile to help everyone. Lyndon is someone I counted on to
get the job done and he never failed.
Teachers here at ASU were required to be part of one Critical Friends Group (CFG); one
committee; one Home Group and one Focus Group for Western Association of Schools and
Colleges (WASC) accreditation; and to lead After School Activities twice a week. Lyndon
participated in the Critical Friends Group that chose “Students With Learning Difficulties” for their
theme of study. Lyndon served on the “Editing of the Operational Procedures Manual”
committee. He was a member of the “IT” Home Group and the “Organization for Student
Learning” Focus Group. For his after school activities he was always available to help his
students. Lyndon is always there when you need him.
Lyndon is an excellent teacher who brings positive ideas, rich experience and excellent work
ethic to whatever he does. In every way Mr. Lyndon Beharry was a great asset to the students
and staff at the American School of Ulaanbaatar. He is an outstanding teacher and a person of
the highest character whom I was fortunate to have on my teaching staff. I would welcome the
opportunity to work with him again. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with him
and know him as a person.
Sincerely,
Kristina Ann Nefstead
