 The graduate does not feel that her education empowered her for
the working environment. One way to deal with this ordeal is put her
through a mentorship programme at work. A mentor (someone with
experience) will be able to the walk the employee through various
processes and norms and standards of their operations (i.e. modus
operandi). This should fast track the process of reaching and
meeting expectations at work
 Her other challenge is the language gap in terms of terminology
used at work. When she gets a task, she often misunderstands
due to lack of knowledge. This is also because the one issuing
tasks assume that she can understand what is implied in the
given tasks and this is seldom the case. So the issuer of tasks
could elaborate a bit more on the details and expectations of
each task
 Her other struggle is that she takes a long time to deliver results on
a given task. Now to deal with this, a task could be divided in to sub
tasks that are smaller and manageable for her level. Delivering them
faster will give her confidence and encouragement to do more and
work out a strategy to work faster.
