Engine Assembly-Implementation of Piston, water pump, fan, engine mounting bracket
PokaYoke, Customized Swivel socket for torqueing of engine mounting bracket (Patent
received for this socket),
Testing-De-gasing system for all test beds, riggings for testing purpose.
Stores-Pick-to-light system implementation for engine parts, Kitting system for supply of
engine parts.
(Project implemented in 4.5 months)
3. W204 XUV Auto Transmission
Machine Shop-Number marking machine, Cylinder block pokayoke
Engine Assembly-Crankcase, crankshaft, oil sump, oil cooler, EGR cooler & flex plate
fitment PokaYoke implementation, EGR cooler Sub assembly stage. Oil cooler Sub
assembly stage.
Testing-Flex plate torqueing machine, Gantry with hoist for flywheel handling, flag based
AT engine identification system.
(Project implemented in 8 months)
4. BSG Project
Machine Shop- Tooling & gauges for cylinder head machining, Washing machine
modification for chip removal, Conveyor modification.
Assembly- Cylinder head, front cover, damper pulley, PSP, alternator & belt pokayoke.
New stage addition in assembly line with procurement of new electric torque tool and
turn table, auto machine for front cover torqueing.
Testing-Modular panel for multi ECU & harness, PSP fitment stage with pokayoke of
belt fitment.
5. Other minor engine projects- 1.99L (Implemented in short span of one month), Scorpio E V
models, XUV export AT models, XUV with IEM alternation. These projects included
complete implementation of models trough APQP method.
B. RO plant- RO plant with the facility to prepare Glycol solution and delivery to each test beds.
Project completed in 6 month. (Planning to SOP)
