TITLE: PLATFORM CAR FULL BIW MODELING
COMPANY: HYUNDAI

DESCRIPTION:
During this project I had successfully completed the full vehicle BIW modeling by leading a
team about 10 members for both NVH and crash standards.
And with the support of senior member I had successfully done the offset and penetration
for both underbody and upper body of full vehicle
And in this project since we were modeling BIW as common for both CRASH and NVH
analysis I myself modeled the front back beam crash box and front side members with orth
ogonality flow for full frontal crash analysis.
TITLE: FULLVEHICLE BODY CLOSURE SYSTEM MODELING
COMPANY: HYUNDAI

DESCRIPTION:
In this project I had successfully completed modeling of body closure system as per standards
that include front door, rear door, trunk lid, hood, and sunroof.
In this each subsystem I had modeled BIW, trim in case of doors, mechanism, and modeled
frame as per special guidelines for durability with orthogonality, and three layered solid
Modeling for hinges.
In this project I had learned and worked for connection trim to trim connection rigid, trim
to BIW bolts and sealer connection for impact rod with BIW.
TITLE: MODELING OF FRONT SUSPENSION AND FUEL SYSTEM
COMPANY: HYUNDAI
SOFTWARE: HYPERWORKS
DESCRIPTION:
During this project I had modeled fuel system for rear crash analysis according to standard
guidelines.
The front suspension system was modeled for frontal crash which includes tries, hub, lower
arm, shock absorber, disk break, break caliper, knuckle, anti-rolling rod, lower control arm,
sub frame.
3. 2. CERTIFICATION AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN HYPERMESH ( sept 14 to Jan 15 )
Obtained Knowledge of Meshing of plastic and sheet-metal components with and without mid-
surface extraction techniques using HYPERMESH.
Key industrial knowledge of 1D meshing and assembly modeling by connectors.
Knowledge regarding Results processing using HYPERVIEW.
In the internship program I had acquire through knowledge of using hypermesh, radioss and
hyperview for various stages of analysis starting from meshing to viewing and validating the
result.
During this program I had acquired the practical knowledge of strength of materials and FEA by
comparing the theoretical subject with practical knowledge by viewing the results in hyperview
and validating it based on results obtained.
