Project 1: Process improvement & Cost reduction through Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VA/VE).

 Planned & organised VA/VE Cost reduction workshop in the gear factory.
 Syndication of 439 suggestions collected through workshop on the basis of their feasibility &
identifying potential for cost reduction.
 Detailed cost reduction analysis of 193 syndicated idea, including in-house costing, investment
 Generated 41 Design Change Request (DCR’s) for the most feasible suggestions & getting an
approval from each concerned department.
 Detailed technical feasibility, verified from Engineering Research Centre (ERC), followed by
the required prototype testing.
