2.  Inner Bearing cover is mainly used to protect the motor from foreign particles such as
grease, dust, iron particles etc.,
 In Group I motor by using Z- Series deep groove ball bearing (Sealed on one face) use of
IBC is completely eliminated &subsequently machining in Shaft for circlip groove also
eliminated.
 More than 4 million cost reduction achieved without affecting the functionality of the
product

 Design & Development of DC Motor by conducting various types of static analyses using
Speed (PCDCM), ANSYS etc.,
 Conceptual 3D & 2D alternate product design proposal creation using Pro E, AutoCAD &
Ansys and responsible for BOM.
 Responsible for design calculation and verification for new product development.
 Responsible for Benchmarking and reverse engineering competitor models - on features,
aesthetics, construction, materials and propose product line up & features for the new
range.
 Responsible for Design Processes like DFMEA, Reliability Tools, Cross Functional Design

 Benchmarking of competitor Products.
 Design optimization of DC motor using PCDCM Speed software and Engineering calculations
&static analysis using ANSYS meeting all requirements of customers.
 Preparation and submission of BOM to C.D department for the costing of product
development.
 Testing of Proto Samples as per the test Standard.
Project : Starter Motor (NdFeb Magnet)

Roles & Responsibility:
 Objective: To increase the Efficiency of motor in small Frame size.
 Electrical design using PCDCM Speed software & Mechanical design calculation.

3.  Developed the Proto Samples and tested the Samples as per test specification.
Project : Costing of Existing Products
Coordinated with costing department & created and released the costing format for existing
Proprietary product and modified the differences in SAP database. Special appreciation received
from M.D and President for doing this project.
