Funded for 12 months from the DFG (Better Care Fund). Small budget, also funded by DFG.
Develop a trial hoarding support service and lead on its successful implementation, including the
design of the service, performance management and monitoring.
Oversee and coordinate the implementation of the Lewisham’s Safeguarding Adults Board (LSAB)
self-neglect and hoarding policy.
Work with operational staff in all agencies to promote both prevention and outcome focused work
and cultural shift in the practice of hoarding.
To improve partnership working and build ongoing collaborative working relationships.
Work closely with clients who hoard and carry out risk assessments at home, in line with the policy
and provide appropriate advice and support.
Provide guidance and support to staff in all agencies in relation to hoarding concerns.
