Port Shopping Guide
January 2013 - Present
Personally responsible for e weekly target of $430K in revenue through live presentations and
diamonds seminars onboard Royal Caribbean International cruise ships. By working with 60
Caribbean retailers and 28 luxury jewelry brands, while managing a team of 8 part time workers.
Special Events Team – Zales Corporation.
May 2012 to December 2012
As part of a large Special Events Team (Trunk Show) manger I travelled all across western
Canada holding “one day only” events within Peoples and Mappins Jewelers. In a short 8 months
I reached the position of number one sales person within the company with over $2.3M in sales.
Working closely with the District Managers and Store Managers, using excessive training and
educating techniques, I managed to take my region to number one for Zales North America.
Responsibilities included. Arranging security moves on a daily basis. Coaching the in store staff
on promoting these events, marketing and how to pre qualify their guests.
Port & Shopping Consultant
September 2010 to July 2011.
PPI Group.
Onboard the Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Pearl.
Working with all departments onboard to cross promote onboard revenue, while holding live
presentations and seminars. Also by utilizing my own TV channel for such events as “Morning
Shows”, brand seminars, port talks and general information regarding NCL and Freestyle
Cruising.
Since first joining NCL in 1995 as a dive instructor, then in December 1999 moving over to Port &
Cruise Consultant. I have played a big part of the implementation of Freestyle Cruising,
throughout most of the NCL ships. I was assigned the Sky, Star and Dawn to set up the ships
from Germany along with Klaus Lugimier

Trained with Steve Weis as his associate for 3 months, then assigned to HAL Zaandam as
auctioneer. Goals were 15 & 19K, after my 3rd week I hit 56K, then was transferred to the new
Zuiderdam, where I stayed for 16 months averaging 100-120K per cruise. Highest week
onboard was 186K. Was one of five auctioneers to win “Rookie of the year” award at
conference.
