For this project, I wanted to incorporate it with my unit plan on the Appalachian
Trail. I decided to put myself on the landscape with Jesus looking over it all. I started off
with a landscape picture and increased the image size. I then opened up a picture of
myself and used the polygonal lasso tool to select all around of my body. To get ride of
the background, I used the background eraser tool. I then decreased the image size of
myself so it would look proportionate to the landscape photo. I had to then put my body
into the landscape. To do so, I drag and dropped the title of the self photo into the
landscape photo. Once the box was inside the photo, I dragged the picture of me
directly onto the landscape. I did the same exact thing with the Jesus photo. To make
Jesus almost transparent, I used the background eraser tool again at a lower intensity. I
wanted to move the clouds around some so I held the option button and clone stamp
tool, selected which part of the picture I wanted to copy and clicked it to my desired
location. I wanted more flowers and more of the cliff so I did the same exact thing to
them.
