The document discusses four different types of content formats: short form, long form, stop motion, and live action. Short form refers to brief content like trailers meant to be viewed quickly. Long form describes longer content meant to be viewed over time, like movies. Stop motion uses real objects animated frame by frame. Live action uses real people and places rather than animation or drawings. Examples are provided for each type.

Short form Work
1. Short Form
Something short form is some type of content that is short in
length/duration that is made to be viewed quickly, such as trailers or
advertisements.

I chose to Evaluate the trailer for the new Netflix show “squid game” as I
felt choosing something very recent would be appropriate given that the
styles would be new compared to if I chose something older such as
friends which came out years ago. The trailer begins with the Protagonist
holding a card with shapes relating to the series on it, it then shows
flashes of the main cast of the show which is effective as it is introducing
us to who is important straight away however it also catches us off guard
with the fast pace in the advertisement. There are short, quick scenes in
the trailer which is confusing for us the viewer, which is also how the
characters in the show would feel after they have woken up after being
kidnapped as they say in the trailer. We are very quickly told the
reasoning for why they’re where they are and then we get flashes of
scenes that show us the games that those in captivity are forced to play
which creates tension, hearing the gunshots going off as people who have
failed or refuse to participate are killed however there is also eerie music
in the background which makes the viewer feel sort of on edge as we
watch the trailer.
2. Long Form
Something Long Form is some type of content that is long in length/duration that is meant
to be viewed over a longer period of time such as a movie.

I chose to evaluate the new trailer for the new Marvel movie "Eternals" which like many
other marvel movies starts off which characters talking, introducing the action of the
movie to us as soon as the trailer starts, also giving us the time limit they have in the
movie to save the world which is seven days. The trailer then carries on with suspenseful
music in the background of this as the characters continue talking and going through what
we can imagine will be plot points in the movie. Marvel do this a lot in their trailers, giving
us small glimpses into what the movie will be like with intense music in the background
which for some may not be all that appealing however to avid Marvel fans this always
seems to bring them into the action almost immediately.
3. Stop Motion
Stop Motion is a special form of animation which uses real objects unlike
the usual animation style which uses drawings, however they both work
frame by frame. The items are usually made from clay or paper and it's
used in many big movies such as Coraline, Luca and The Nightmare
Before Christmas.

You can see in the trailer above that the Style is completely different to
that of normal animation which is a theme in older movies such as The
Corpse Bride, The Magic Roundabout, Etc, however it seems to
be coming back in movies such as in the new Disney movie Luca,
The Willoughbys and the Lego Movie series.
4. Live Action
Live Action movies are movies made with real people and
places such as movies like enchanted by Disney. However,
Disney's more recent live action seem to usually be
remakes of animated movies they had made previously.

5. Animation
Animation is the technique of using drawings to create some sort of media and is used worldwide in all
sorts of things such as movies, anime, cartoons, tv shows, trailers and most other types of media. It’s a
wildly used thing in the media world and a lot of skill goes into creating a product using animation.
Disney makes a lot of animated movies along with other studios such as Pixar, Studio Ghibli, Etc.
