Credit Manager
Serve as a Credit Manager for a global beverage retailer with over 20 locations worldwide. Accountable for
posting / adjusting Fintech, credit card, and ACH payments, reconciling accounts, processing monthly
billings, credit policies & procedures, and A/R processes. Monitor A/R portfolio for trends and warning signs.
Help determine credit ceilings and set credit-rating criteria per corporate credit policy. Control bad debt
exposure and expenses via credit terms. Initiate legal or other recovery actions against customers who are
delinquent. Update and maintain customer accounts.
Selected Highlights
• Tracked and managed account’s shipment status based on their payment history and current accounts
receivables.
• Processed customer invoice payments via issuing credits, reinstating NSF checks, and calculating service
charges.
• Worked closely with new accounts to ensure all liquor license information was updated and correct as well
as provided credit terms based on bank information and payment history.
• Identified and resolved delinquent accounts by collaborating with collection agency to develop and
implement viable solutions to collect outstanding balances.
