Developed process to create an X12 authorization transaction from an admission message in acute
care centers. The product manages observation and inpatient admissions as well as performing
inquiries for pre-admission authorizations. Created 50-80% efficiency/cost savings to the health plan
as well as increasing speed to payment for providers.
- Implemented Availity's first product entry for clinical data exchange for interoperability of HL7
health information data with other healthcare entities such as laboratories, hospitals, radiology

applied for all trademarks. The effort resulted in the expansion of a new product segment with a

Responsible for coordinating all Dallas project activities with Chicago business unit to insure on time product
delivery and launch readiness. The Dallas team met all of its objectives/time lines and successfully launched
the product.

training on the products. By serving this role, it enabled the first line support staff to have a resource to
