Position directive was to increase capacity and bring new customers to a struggling Organic Coatings division in
a limited time-frame. Successfully utilized preliminary evaluation of the current facility, equipment, and
processes to gain authorization of resources for development and implementation of unique problem solving
methods conforming to Lean methodologies to create a planned outcome within defined monetary parameters.
Designed and fabricated new equipment and facility modifications to exceed company expectations and reduce
process cycle times. Played a key role in process improvements yielding condensed production costs and
minimizing non-conforming product while remaining compliant with local and accredited statutes. Guided
reorganization to facilitate improved flow of production processes and established storage locations for
department consumables to enhance inventory control.

Brought aboard to take full charge of Florida Finishing Co., a newly acquired, troubled commercial and industrial
painting company. Closely evaluated all facets of the operation, developed a cohesive management team, and
developed and implemented new policies, processes, procedures, and practices to effectively turn around the
business. Tripled the workforce, and guided efforts in areas of sales and marketing, new product development,
cost control, regulatory compliance, and new business development. Develop and manage customer driven
accreditation’s while furthering organization and marketing efforts with the design, testing, and launch of a
custom ERP system, Quoting and Job Costing systems, ISO compliant 4-Tier quality systems, employee
Training Program, and website used for internal work instructions, data collection, and external marketing.
Further promoted sales and marketing through select trade shows, business to business networking, and other
marketing strategies and opportunities.
Upon arrival in 2007, company had accumulated substantial debt and achieving less than desired target in gross
sales volume. By 2013, eliminated payroll debt and reporting Gross Annual Sales volume of $500K.
Transitioned Florida Finishing into a Defense/Aerospace accredited company specializing in the lucrative
aerospace, military, DOD, Navy, and Air Force finishing markets. Prime customers include Goodrich Lighting /

Incorporated Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies that significantly reduced nonconforming product
and increased company profit margins. Strategically implemented ridged process controls derived from quality
metrics and data, customer, military, and aerospace qualifications in accordance with controlling specifications and
requirements.
Designed and authored ISO 9000 compliant quality system to include a quality manual, standard operating
procedures, associated operator variable forms, and departmental work instructions. Created an extensive

Conceptualized, authored, developed, tested, and executed data bases supporting Enterprise Resource Planning

inventory reports, production work centers, travelers, inspection forms, and testing documentation.
