Hired as contracted Systems Developer and asked to stay on as full-time employee due to exemplary
work ethic. Managed IT projects, HIPAA Security Compliance, and IT priorities, provided integration
solutions for all Departments in order to disseminate and coordinate data, and managed relationships
with business partners and their IT resources. Supervised 12 direct reports and trained 80 employees.
Project Highlights:
• Integrated eligibility tracking, premium payments, EDI claims submission/adjudication into one
process. Result: Reduced number of claims agents by 50%, saved $800K in the first year, and
reduced days to payment by 99%.
• Incorporated multiple streams of claims data delivery into one solution. Results: Drove EDI claims
submission process to 89%, and converted 90% of claims to paperless.
• Assimilated new provider network with IVR, website, claims adjudication, and CSM within record 90
days. Result: Saved $29M in 18 months’ time.
• Developed website with real time pharmacy ordering, pricing, credit card authorization, and
pharmacy robotics integration. Results: Slashed labor costs, reduced customer complaints and
potential number of declined orders.
