Description
CITI Cards Customer Communication Letters (CCL/DCF) –Document Composition Facility (DCF) is the system that
supports the facility to accept and process requests for customer communications. DCF system is a part of international
bankcard system (IBS), which provides the capability to accept communication requests in addition with other card
processing. Communication requests include paragraphs, letters and e-mails. CITI Cards uses International Bankcard
System for their core credit card processing.
The project involves requirements capturing, documentation of the system, testing & enhancement of the application.
Test cases are prepared and loaded to Quality Center. The testing services provided will include system integration
testing, regression testing, preparation of test plans, test cases, test scripts and test data, defect reporting and tracking
for system integration and regression testing, supporting re-test after fixes, supporting high level performance testing.
It includes automation of test cases and updates the test scripts for regression effort.

Description
Policy Administration System (PAS) involves in providing end to end solution for the customers availing Pension
Products. The system has many important sub-systems which offer many solutions in various stages. It involves
Quotation distribution, acquiring a Proposal, Maintaining the policy in system and providing any value added services.
The system end any policy life cycle with the very last stage of Claims, wherein that system will close a business with
Customer by paying all the matured amount once the tenure completes. The above is just a brief introduction of the
system I served and following are the core projects which TCS delivered for Scottish Widows.
Enhanced Annuities – (May 2012 – May 2013):
It is another milestone achieved by TCS with a new product being tested for Scottish Widows. An annuity is something
where a customer will invest any lump sum to Scottish Widows once any Insurance policy matures. This is mainly to
reduce the humungous amount of tax to be deducted and also to save a considerable amount so as to return on
monthly as pension amount. Enhanced Annuity is huge break through where a customer with mortality issues (say any

3. disease/disorders) can be offered a better enhanced to his annuity policy. As part of this project we offered an end to
end solution to customers. Unlike other projects, this project involves third party portals to create Enhanced Annuities
policy for customers. We TCS involved throughout the testing phase and provided extensive support.
FSA Illustration Changes – (June 2013 – Aug 2014):
This is one of the Anchor projects which yield and continue to yield more revenue for Customers. This is an important
which has to be implemented in a time bound manner as it is followed by UK government order. Financial Service
Authority (FSA) of UK has demanded all service providers in UK to implement a regulation where in they have to
consider the Inflation rate as 2.5%. In Addition FSA has transformed to FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). TCS has
provided end to end solution to implement the above changes in customer’s products and delivered more successfully.
It has earned more CSI from the customers.

Project : Mobile provisioning system

Description
Provisioning involves the process of preparing and equipping a network to allow it to provide (new) services to its
users. The concept of network provisioning or service mediation, mostly used in the telecommunication industry, refers
to the provisioning of the customer's services to the network elements. Mobile subscriber provisioning refers to the
setting up of new services, such as GPRS, MMS and Instant Messaging for an existing subscriber of a mobile phone
network, and any gateways to standard Internet chat or mail services. The network operator typically sends these
settings to the subscriber's handset using SMS text services or HTML, and less commonly WAP, depending on what the
mobile operating systems can accept.
A network element is usually defined as a manageable logical entity uniting one or more physical devices. This allows
distributed devices to be managed in a unified way using one management system. I have got any opportunity to work
in many of the Network elements such as HLR ( Home location Register ), VLR ( Visitor Location register), AUC
(Authentication Centre), SMSC, MMSC, MSC.
We offer provisioning for both Postpaid and Prepaid customer across UK and Ireland. We offer multiple services like
Activation, Termination, Suspension etc for all business and consumer customers. An in-house application called
TERTIO is used to perform all provisioning during E2E testing. I am also familiar about People-soft CRM, MVNO, MVNE
and MNP.
