5. Currently, there are 974 million existing Twitter accounts and 330
million active users. By extending Twitter’s reach and features to other
media channels, we believe the company will ultimately increase its
number of active users per month.
Since Twitter is already one of the most prominent social media
channels ever created, we have created a strategy for Twitter to
transcend the social media sphere and influence other entertainment
mediums. If Twitter can negotiate with Live TV providers such as ESPN,
YouTube TV, Sling TV, Hulu, and NBC, our idea is to push Twitter in the
direction of solidifying partnerships so that TV audiences are
encouraged to live-tweet during televised events, broadcasted
segments, and new episode airings.
6. How can Twitter use innovative
ways to engage their audiences
on the digital end?
7. Have you ever tweeted something while
watching a live show or game?
After a show or a game, do you go on
Twitter to read the tweets that other
people posted about it?
10. Live Chat style “Tweet Bar” on Live
Stream Videos
● Click on trending #hashtag to be directed to a
live stream video
● Tweet directly while watching video
● Read what others are tweeting simultaneously
● Find your tweet on your Twitter feed with the
#hashtag of the video
13. Connecting tweet-
cards to be shared
directly on Facebook:
Bringing cross-
platform influence to
the content creators of
Twitter
14. Twitter cards are direct
links to tweets made
by users that will link
you to the original
tweet, and the original
tweeter’s profile, plus
any media integrated
into the tweet such as
videos, photos and
GIFs
15. Implementing Twitter Cards on Facebook
Conventionally Twitter
cards are used for website
articles, but they are not
integrated into social media
platforms--when accounts
of other social networks
share tweets it is typically
done through posting a
screenshot
Other accounts of other
apps are essentially given
credit and following for
sharing content that leaves
no convient link to the
original creators of Twitter
16. Implementing Twitter Cards on Facebook
By implementing
Twitter Cards on
Facebook, the website
will be able to funnel
credit and traffic, not
only to the Twitter app
or website, but to the
creator of the content
that is being shared on
the site
Twitter will be an
exceptional space for
content creators with
soaring engagements
and more due credit
being provided to their
tweets
Covertly works as a
method to introduce
users of other apps to
the culture and styles
of content produced
on Twitter--
Motivating them to
become apart of the
community
17. Transfer Twitter Moments to Snapchat Story
Snapchat is currently famous for its popular stories, many of which are
actually controlled by other media outlets, such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan,
and DailyMail.
18.
19. We believe Twitter can also buy
out space for a Snap Story and
incorporate a daily run-down of
the day’s top tweets and
trending topics/hashtags, as
well as context for current
events accompanied by the
most savage, notorious, and
important tweets regarding
the day’s events and
happenings.
20. Key Takeaways
We hope that these strategies of utilizing omni-present channels and
spreading Twitter’s features to other media outlets will help more people
become active Twitter users.
