1. What have you
learnt about
technologies
from the
process of
constructing
this product?
2. Technologies
When constructing this product, I used many
different technological mediums. First of all, to do
my research, I used programmes such as Microsoft
PowerPoint and Word. To upload these documents I
used ‘Scribd’ and ‘Slide share’. Other forms of e-
media I used in the research stage was the internet
to create PowerPoint’s on a site named ‘Prezi’ and
also ‘Survey Monkey’ to produce surveys that
would hopefully achieve feedback.
After this, in the producing stage (after planning
the images) I had to take the pictures that would be
involved in my products. For this I learnt how to set
up a photo shoot, adjusting lighting and how to use
focus on the cameras. This was helpful as the
cameras were very high quality allowing me to
produce better photos. Being able to adjust the
lighting was helpful too, as I could use it to produce
light photos, as well as to create a drop shadow
behind the model. Furthermore, placing in the
images was also important, and we could use the
cameras to create such areas that we could input
text at a later time, for example my double paged
spread. After this, to produce my products, I used
Adobe Photoshop. This allowed me to create my
products at a high quality as Photoshop is highly
used when editing or making photographs.
