This is a letter of reference for John McCaul, who was employed with Staples Canada
lnc. from April 26, 2005 to February 9,2O't-5. John was first hired as a part time Sales
Area Representative and then moved into tJre full time Furniture Consultant role on
November 20, 2005 where he remained untilthe end of his employment.
ln this position, his primary responsibilities included spending the majority of time with
customers, maximizing sales and earnings in assigned departments. He leveraged
customer relationships to drive sales and maintained merchandising standards within
his assigned departments. He was also responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction
both in store and post-delivery of merchandise. He was effective at resolving customer
concerns and escalating to management when appropriate.
Throughout his tenure with Staples Canada lnc. John showed strengths in his ability to
build rapport with the customers. He was able to adapt to their needs and showed
strong commitment to ensuring they were being looked after'
