2. Film Posters We learnt how to lay our poster out in the most effective way which would make it clear and eye catching enough, to our chosen target audience. We also learnt what the most useful information was to include in our poster.
3. Short Films The plotline had to be interesting enough to keep audiences attention but not without causing the film to become too long. We also learnt what type of music and cuts they find most effective as to not overpower the short film with complexity.
4. Film Reviews We felt analysing film reviews were especially helpful as it helped us learn what layouts work. We also learnt a common way in which magazines rate films by stars or some kind of shape out of five.
5. Conclusion To conclude we found analysing other media products incredibly helpful, as it helped guide our plans for making our own film and ancillary tasks. It was helpful also to consider what worked with other products out there and why, then to try and interpret them into our own work making us produce a better quality piece of work, which would be a more effective media product.
