• The colours used were a mixture of pastel, deep and bright tones. But they
stick very tightly to the established colour scheme. The choice for each artist
reflects their type of music and who they want to attract.
• Avril Lavigne's is dark, punk and rough whereas Carley Rae Jepsons is light,
fun and approachable

close-up of their face and it is the first thing that draws you in alongside bold text with
their name.

was often close to a link to buy merchandise or the music.

The artists introduction or bio is often hyperlinked
in the side bar and more images of the artist may
accompany an introduction.
There are often links to the artists social media
such as Instagram, Facebook and twitter, this
engages the audience with the artist and spreads
the artists' influence.
The choices made in terms of typography and
colour is very dependent on the artist and
the vibes of their music.
The website will look different if the artist is
producing new music, clips and behind the scenes
may be available on their website.
A content hierarchy and clear navigation is key
when creating the website.
