Group Activity (Guess the Picture)
Key Questions
1. How did you find your activity?
2. What do you think those pictures
are? How do we call them?
3. What specific thing that these
tools can be used or designed to?
A tool is a handheld device that
aids in accomplishing a task. Tools
range from a traditional metal
cutting part of a machine to an
element of a computer program that
activates and controls a particular
function.
Safe Use of tools Once selected, use the
tool for the purpose for which it was
designed. Not all tools come with detailed
instructions, but there are those that do
spell out the safety
Do’s and Don’ts for your safety. Hence, Environmental Safety
and Health Program requires the following:
• All tools should be kept in good condition with regular
maintenance
• The right tool should be used for the job
• Each tool should be examined before using AND damaged or
defective tools should not be used.
• Tools be operated according to manufacturer’s instructions
• The right protective equipment for the tool and activity be
used
What are the four classification of Computer
Hardware Tools
1. Electro-Static Discharge or ESD Tools
2. Hand Tools
3. Cleaning Tools
4. Diagnostic Tools
What are the four classification of Computer
Hardware Tools
Enumerate the tools under ESD Tools?
Enumerate the tools under Hand Tools
Give me an example of tools under Cleaning Tools
Give me an example of tools under Diagnostic Tools.
Can you tell us the function of ESD Tools?
How about the Function of Hand Tools, Cleaning Tools
and Diagnostic Tools.
How can you identify
the four classification of
Computer Hardware
Tools?
What is the significance
of selecting proper
tools in computer
repair?
Let us see if you really understand our lesson for today.
I will group you now into (2) two. What you are going
to do is to identify/name the tools on the boxes.
Rubrics:
