ROUTE MANAGER/ALL LINES OF BUSINESS – Waste Management
12/2012 to present
Currently manage 32 employees for Commercial, Industrial and Residential. My support and coaching
abilities drive employees to reach our ultimate goal of Safety and Efficiency. In 2012 introduced
Onboard Computers and Drivecam. These 2 programs drove Waste Management into newer
technology. Training employees on correct usage and encouraging their positive attitude made both
programs a success. Much of my focus for this position is coaching, asking open ended question
empowing employees to know the answers and know what to do for productivity and safety.
ONBOARD COMPUTER TRAINER – Waste Management
04/2012 – 12/2012
Supported new Professional growths for the entire company going paperless worldwide. Over 9
months traveled from site to site in Central Pennsylvania, New Jersey areas. Training employees at 26
sites on the use if Onboard Computer Unit (OBU). Also conducted separate training for office
personnel for office tool of OCS- OCSD. This was the communication side of the OBU.
INDUSTRIAL DISPATCHER – Waste Management
12/2010 to 04/2012
Industrial dispatcher. Very complex position had to be a quick thinker and to be able to juggle multiple
things at one time. Multitasking is a must. Scheduled drivers load every day. Loads changed by the
minute. Had to learn multiple counties. Supported drivers in Adams, Lancaster, and Cumberland,
Dauphin, Lebanon, Schuylkill and York counties. Working with Contractors, sales, billing, customer
service and managers to ensure completion of there assigned routes. Supported management in staying
compliant with D.O.T regulations, hours and truck inspections.
COMMERCIAL DISPATCHER – Waste Management
04/2009 to 12/2010
Commercial dispatcher. Supported drivers on there daily routes. Contacting customers, sales, billing,
customer service and managers to ensure completion of there assigned routes. This was a whole new
Customer base. This was a more proactive line of business. We contacted customers while drivers
were on site to eliminate any service issues to ensure timely pickup for our customers. Drivers were
held to be compliant with D.O.T regulations, municipal contracts, limits and time ordinances.
RESIDENTIAL DISPATCHER – Waste Management
03/2004 to 04/2009
Supported drivers on their daily routes. Contacting customers, sales, billing, customer service and
managers to ensure completion of there assigned routes. Ensuring drivers were compliant with D.O.T
regulations, municipal contracts, limits and time ordinances. This department trained me on different
computer systems, customer based and productivity.
