I am a seasoned professional with over 15 years’ experience in the Aviation, Aerospace
and Transportation industry. I have over 8 years of managerial experience.
My experience within the aviation and aerospace business incorporates a wealth of
industry, program and aircraft knowledge. Below are some areas in the industry where I
have experienced success.
Continuous Improvement/ Lean+: Leader in accelerating change across large and small
organizations. Well versed in managing projects and initiatives that deliver quantifiable
results. Experienced in developing and implementing business improvements in quality,
scheduling, cycle times and cost improvements.
Customer Service and Relationship Building: Seasoned in providing customer service
as well as building and maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
Experienced in providing customer service to the Air Force, Air National Guard, and
Department of Defense and in support of US Air Force VIP/Special Air Mission fleets,
including support of the President of the United States.
Training: Skilled in developing training policies and procedures and administering
enterprise-wide in clear concise, methodical fashion. Experienced in coaching and
mentoring employees, team members, key stakeholders and business partners.

Inventory & Distribution Management: I managed a team responsible for the inventory
control and distribution of aircraft parts and equipment. The team was responsible for
demand forecasting, inventory optimization and asset management. I was accountable
for maintaining adequate inventory levels at over 80 locations worldwide to support a
domestic and international fleet of 400 commercial narrow and wide body aircraft.
Purchasing & Contract Negotiations: I have experience in the purchasing side of the
business, which included sourcing numerous products and services for fleet aircraft. I
have experience writing RFP's and well as negotiating contracts of value up to $250K. I
have experience with both fixed price contacts and cost reimbursement contracts.
Quality Assurance & Performance/ Supplier Management: I was responsible for over 80
locations worldwide. I developed and implemented a metric based scoring system that
would measure supplier performance. I was responsible for leading audits and
assessing vendor/supplier performance. Responsible for leading lean initiatives
throughout the supply chain.
Revenue Management: I managed a team of 12 responsible for all revenues ($15MM
annually) generated onboard US Airways aircraft. I implemented strategies to
significantly reduce supply chain costs and costs of goods sold. With great teamwork we
were able to increase net profit by 24% during my tenure as manager.
Cost Cutting: I worked with US Airways through two Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings. I was
instrumental in thinking of innovative ways to reduce spend and streamline
processes. We were very successful, reducing our budget by over $50MM. I was
personally responsible for incremental cost savings of nearly $4MM.
