Dear Sir or Madam.
I am a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor degree of Engineering and five years
of practical on-site experience as Freelancer Eng, Field Engineer and Production Manager. In my BSc thesis I
studied the static strength of an industrial building and double crane bridge of 5 tn according to European
Codes & Greek directives, but the most important conclusion was that, I compared the probability of error
between the results of hand calculations , static program of Civil Eng.(RSAP) and Finite Element Analysis
program Ansys and Solid Works for double crane bridge.
In my current position as a mechanical engineer at Nikas A. SA company that specializes in the
production and conversion of mini and midi buses (tourist, school, personnel and disabled persons buses) I
have developed key project management skills and the ability to improve communication with the broader
project team. As I am required to ensure risk assessments to be correctly implemented and current
legislative and European directives guidelines are followed, successful communication was critical to my
role.
I am very confident in planning and designing projects using AutoCAD, Solid Works, Ansys and
Inventor, and managing production line. I enjoy to go the extra mile on the job, in supervision, including
checking the technical aspects of drawings and equipment designs and the maintenance of existing
infrastructure.
I have a thorough knowledge of the processes managing and design and am experienced in
directing and managing the on-site team, including contractors. I possess excellent interpersonal and
communication skills and my multitasking abilities are advanced.
Given my on-site experience I am accustomed to operate in a demanding environment and work
hard to keep projects within budget and deadline. I am keen to employ my skills and enthusiasm as an
integral part of your team.
