Contract Negotiator (1996 – 1999)
• Managed a combined annual agreement value of $440M in pre-merger Contract Negotiator position. These included the
standard US office furniture; business forms, and office supplies agreements. Negotiated total agreement savings of over $12M
• Led a diversified Upstream Project Team to procure and transport domestic household furniture and furnishings for an expat
compound in Angola, Africa (Luanda). A Department-wide Team Award was won for this achievement.
Vehicle Coordinator (1989 – 1996)
• Promoted to a Vehicle Coordinator in the pre-merger Exxon Company, USA Upstream Procurement
• Managed a $20M annual budget for operating groups and field personnel
• Developed truck specifications, obtained local Production management budget sign-off, and ordered vehicles through an
outsourced Fleet Management Company
• Streamlined vehicle ordering process by standardizing Company vehicles for Production areas, in addition to creating
substantial savings in administrative costs.

• Materials Expeditor: Ensured the timely completion of technical Upstream orders within the Exxon Company, USA
Procurement Department, saving the Company millions of dollars in cost avoidance

• Administrative Assistant: Supported an Upstream Geosciences Group (Basin Exploration) at Exxon’s Upstream Research
Center in this entry-level position. The initial work group tripled in the eighteen (18) months I was assigned to it and eventually
