Working Title: halo war for the colonise harvest
Audience:
my main target audience is men ages 16-40 in middle class in the psychographic group of
belongers with the secondary audience being women age 16-40 in middle class in the
psychographic group of belongers and the way my product would appeal to them is
because they are a part of the belonger group people who are loyal to a specific brand and
my game is related to the halo brand so it will compel my target audiences who are loyal to
the halo brand will be compelled to buy my product since it is part of that brand another
way it appealsto my target audience is because since it is 8 bit it won’t cost as much to
produce so there is no need to have a high price to get back the funding used to produce
the game but also make extra back so anyone can afford the game and many people like
items at low prices, a final way my product will appeal to my target audience is the theme of
the game which is a sci-fi military shooter which is popular amongst a mainly male
audience.
Rationale
A skill I have acquired from this year is learning how to use the timeline feature in adobe
photoshop and I will use it to create the animation for my game.
Project Concept
the concept for my project is a halo themed on rail shooter in which players will go up
against waves of covenant forces in the UNSC sparrow hawk in the final weeks of the
harvest campaign collecting power ups to improve their air craft with more deadly fire
power such as machine guns, missile launchers, gauss cannon and the legendary spartan
laser. The research I am going to need to do for this game will be to look at existing halo
games and the vehicles within them and see if I can convert them from detailed 3d models
to 2d top down perspective images or sprites.
Evaluation
He way I plan on evaluating my work is during production at certain points I will look at how my
work is developing on production reflection to what works and what doesn’t then after finishing my
project going back on previous work I had done and evaluate them as well.
