St Thrift Shop 02/2015 – 5/2016
Manager of a fast paced high volume retail location with a budget 1.7 million dollars. Responsible for the
recruiting, hiring, training, and daily organization of a team of 7 employees and up to 20 volunteers
/interns / trainees all integral to the daily operations of the store. Main retail location involved with housing
works Job training program, assisting in the development and training of housing works clients with the soft
skills necessary to reenter the workforce.
Ensured that all staff members are providing excellent customer service while establishing and
maintaining relationships with donors, press, and high-end clients/public representatives.
Planned, executed, and merchandised for all in store promotions, including monthly mini promos and
biannual “Best of” events with opening night sales goals of 17-20k. Curated items for bi-monthly online
auctions of luxury merchandise geared toward high-end clientele.
Achieved sales plan every month as store manager and improved store performance to be #1
performing in the company out of 12 housing works locations in FY16. Received award at annual
employee breakfast for most improved store.
Increased KPI and mystery shop scores while maintaining and exceeding operational standards by

Assistant manager in a team of 11 employees that became the highest performing store in the company
for FY15. Store achieved month plan 9 out of 12 months.
Streamlined existing systems and created new systems for processing, pricing, & saving home accessories
and books. Resulting in increased avg$ sale and achievement of event month goals during BOS, BOF and
Holiday due to proper merchandise management.
Spearheaded the creation, saving, pricing, and execution of multiple successful promotions throughout
the year and played an active role in all other in store promos.
Implemented higher standards for all employees including in the areas of customer service,
merchandising, organization, and positivity. Resulting in increased scores on mystery shops, LP Audits, &
Operational audits.
