PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN

2. Movement β This principle refers to the repetition of elements to direct the
movement of the eye through the design.
3. Contrast β This refers to the distinctiveness of the elements.
4. Emphasis β This refers to the use of colors, size and contrast to provide
special attention and importance to the to the subject of the design.
5. Pattern- This element refers to the organization of alternated or repeated
elements or motifs.
6. Unity β In this principle, all the parts of the design must be arranged to give
the viewer the feeling that all are linked together.
