Reading Syllabus in  Malaysian Secondary Schools
Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Menengah (KBSM) –  implemented in 1988 in accordance with the NEP Aims: The syllabus aims to extend learners’  English language proficiency in order to meet their needs to use English in  certain situations in everyday life, for knowledge acquisition, and for future workplace needs. Reading Syllabus in Malaysian Secondary Schools Native Americans, unlike most other cultures, revere the wolf,  imbuing the animal with almost mystical and spiritual  qualities – both good and evil. One evening, an old Cherokee told his grandson about the eternal battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My boy, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.” “ One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.” “ The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, tolerance, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.” The boy thought about it for a minute and then asked the grandfather, “Which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed.” Source:  Kallimullah, H. Reading Syllabus in Malaysian Secondary Schools Native Americans, unlike most other cultures, revere the wolf, imbuing the animal with almost mystical and spiritual qualities – both good and evil. One evening, an old Cherokee told his grandson about the eternal battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My boy, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.” “ One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.” “ The other is Good.
