3. INTRODUCTION
A multi-storey building is a building that has multiple storeys, and typically contains vertical
circulation in the form of ramps, stairs and lifts.
ARG Group’s Residential projects are architecturally well-planned and structurally detailed to
perfection. Ananta is a group housing project with boundless opportunities and possibilities.
The apartments are smartly designed to offer a comfortable & joyful living. The project will
be fully equipped with all the modern amenities like club house, swimming pool, indoor &
outdoor games etc.

SITE PLAN
(Total Built Up Area : 350 Sq.Ft) (Total Built Up Area : 550 Sq.Ft) (Total Built Up Area : 640 Sq.Ft.)

8. MATERIALS USED
Materials which are used at site in construction are as follows:-
1. Cement
2. Aggregate
3. Sand
4. Admixture
5. Steel Reinforcement
6. Gypsum
7. Tiles
8. Bricks
9. CONSTRUCTION WORKS
1. Brick – Masonry Work
Dimension of Brick: 230mm x 110mm x 70mm (Fly Ash Brick)
Mortar Ratio: 1: 4 ( Cement : Sand )
Type of Bond in Brick work: Stretcher Bond
Band are also Provided in Brick work.
11. 3. Scaffolding
Scaffolding is a temporary structure to support the original structure as well as workmen used it as a
platform to carry on the construction works. Scaffolding is made up of timber or steel. It should be stable
and strong to support workmen and other construction material placed on it.
12. 4. Concreting
During concreting following equipment’s are used
• Concrete mixer.
• Concrete vibrators (e.g. Needle vibrator, plate/ surface vibrator etc.).
13. 5. Casting Of Beam
Beam is a structural member which is normally placed horizontally. It provides resistance to
bending when loads are applied on it. . Most commonly used material for beam is RCC (Reinforced
Cement Concrete).
14. 6. Casting Of Column
Columns are basically rigid vertical structural members designed primarily to support axial
compressive loads coming from beams and slabs and then transfer it to ground through footing.
Column have different width and height according to the location and load on the column.
15. 7. Casting Of Slab
A Reinforced Concrete Slab is the one of the most important component in a building. It is a
structural element of modern buildings. Slabs are supported on Columns and Beams.
16. Shear wall of reinforced concrete is a structural member used to resist lateral forces i.e.
parallel to the plane of the wall. It transmits the load/force exterior walls, floors, and roofs to
the ground foundation in a direction parallel to their planes.
Shear wall is made near the staircase and lift section.
SHEAR WALL
17. An expansion joint is an assembly designed to hold parts together while safely absorbing
temperature-induced expansion and contraction of building materials, and vibration, or to
allow movement due to ground settlement or seismic activity.
EXPANSION JOINT
18. EQUIPMENTS / MACHINERIES USED
Equipments which are used at site in construction are as follows:-
1. Concrete Batching Plant
2. Concrete Mixing Machine
3. Internal / Needle Vibrator
4. Compression Testing Machine
5. Slump Cone
19. 1. Concrete Batching Plant
The concrete batch plants can be classified into 4 sections:
• Cement feeding
• Aggregate feeding
• Water
• Admixture for blending
the materials, transport,
and storage.
20. 2. Concrete Mixing Machine
This machine is used for prepare a concrete mix. This machine has weighing buckets in
which sand, cement, aggregate, water and admixture are filled according to the grade of
concrete.
21. 3. Internal / Needle Vibrator
They essentially consist of a power unit and a long flexible tube at the end of which
a vibrating head is attached.
22. 4. Compression Testing Machine
Compressive strength of concrete cube test provides an idea about all the characteristics
of concrete.
25. I gained a lot of insight regarding almost every aspect of site. I was given
exposure in execution department at the ARG Ananta-I site. The friendly
welcome from all the employees is appreciating, sharing their
experience & giving their peace of wisdom which they have gained in
long journey of work.
During this training period I learn how to deal with Labours.
During this training period I learn how an Engineer deals with project.
How to check the Drawing sheet and implementation in reality.
I hope this experience will surely help me in my future & also in shaping
my career.
