Work Responsibilities:
• Conversion of Defined Benefit Plans.
• Reading, understanding and creating a summary plan document in Excel from plan
documents, amendments, notes, data, etc.
• Modeling and coding the new products as per the defined benefit plan provision using
the summary plan document to code the plan menu-LV win software. This is the main
engine of the process.
• Using LV Indiv (software to run calculations). The results are compared to manual
calculations to verify the accuracy. Test cases under different scenarios are provided
by the clients and picked by Doer for testing.

I had two months onsite training in UK trained by Aled – Pricing and Steve Withers –
Prophet. This training deals about the Pricing annuity calculations was done using Microsoft
Excel and Prophet Exposure.

• Pricing of UK bulk annuity contracts using a pricing model written using the
‘Prophet’, actuarial modeling system. Achieved app 80% of accuracy level in sixteen
schemes and appreciated by reviewers for handling the various complexities.

to ensure system is generating correct benefit.
• Prophet testing comparison between old and new versions by individual member
wise and overall impact in the scheme.
