Abstract: This paper deals with a new technology by which water can be used as a fuel. Price of Petroleum oils
are increases day-by-day, affecting the lifestyle of common people as well as the national economy. Hence it is
necessary to have alternative for petroleum oil. Water can be used as a fuel in the form of Brown’s Gas, so we
have a plan to produce a Generator which works on Brown’s Gas which is obtained by the electrolysis of water. It
will be a unique type of Generator so it has huge market potential. Now–a-days every country spends a lot of
money on research and development on non-conventional energy resources. In world, the conventional energy
sources are limited and their consumption is very high, so alternative sources of energy have tremendous
potential in future. Nobody will think for a moment but it is reality that water can be used as electricity producing
agent, and hence as an energy resources. It is good news for environmentalists as It is made from water,
depending upon the set-up; it burns into combustion engine and releases oxygen into atmosphere. This method
increases the oxygen content in the atmosphere, which helps to solve environment degradation. Hence, this new
successful technology can be called as Green technology. Since Electricity is one of the important energy
resources. It is available at very limited places and consumption is much more. This causes war for electricity
which is not new for civilization but by this technology war can be overcome or may be ended soo n

INTRODUCTION
Now–a-days every country is spending a lot of money on research and development on non-conventional energy
resources. In world, the conventional energy sources are limited and their consumption is very high, so alternative
sources of energy have tremendous potential in future. Nobody will think for a moment but it is reality that water
can be used as a electricity producing agent, and hence as an energy resources. It is good news for
environmentalists. Hence, this new successful technology is known as Green technology.
Oxy-hydrogen is a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same
proportion as water. This gaseous mixture is used for torches for the processing of refractory materials and was the
first gaseous mixture used for welding. In practice a ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 hydrogen: oxygen is required to avoid an
oxidizing flame.
NEED OF ALTERNATIVE IDEA TO PRODUCE ELECTRICITY FROM WATER
The earth’s environment is experiencing tremendous problems at present, a few of them are given below:-
1] Electricity is one of the important energy resources. It is available at very limited places and consumption is much
more. This causes war for electricity which is not new for civilization.
2] Limited availability and higher demand of electricity is increasing its price day-by-day. It also affects the world
economy.
3] Serious problems like, water level decreasing day-by-day, Global warming and Ozone hole are increasing.

POTENTIALITY OF WATER
To fulfill the need as mentioned above and also to resolve the problems as stated non-conventional energy system
like, Solar battery, etc are developed. In water, two parts of Hydrogen are present. As Hydrogen is an excellent fuel,
water molecule possesses tremendous amount of energy. Water can be dissociated into its elements by electrolysis
by the following equation
2H2O+ELECTROLYSIS = 2H2+O2 (Brown’s gas)
Hydrogen is an important fuel as it burns totally. This Hydrogen gas along with the Oxygen gas makes Brown gas,
which is also a most power fuel which can produce electricity at HOME.
PREPARATION OF BROWN GAS
This is the most perfect fuel for running the entire Generator which produces electricity. It is made from water,
depending upon the set-up; it burns into combustion engine and releases oxygen into atmosphere. This method
increases the oxygen content in the atmosphere, which helps to solve environment degradation. As Brown gas is
more efficient and can be solve the environmental problems.
2H2O+ELECTROLYSIS = 2H2+O2 (Brown’s gas)
WORKING OF GENERATOR
In this generator, electrolysis is done in parallel plate electrolyzer. Electricity from battery is used to split water into
its element of Hydrogen and Oxygen, mixture gas which is known as “Brown Gas”. It displaces more volume than
normal diatomic constituents H2:O2. Temperature, pressure and process are controlled by control unit. Oxygen and
hydrogen produced by electrolysis are mixed with water. A milky white solution comes out at the end of electrolysis
as shown in figure. This solution goes into separator unit which separates Brown gas from water. Water from
separator unit is recycled back to electrolysis device to reuse. Brown’s gas escaped from the separator enters into
engine through intake manifold.
One liter of water = 1866.6 liters of Brown gas (2H2:O2)
One liter of water = 933.3 liters of H2:O2 gas
Brown gas is a simplest and highest atomic form and hence less energy is required to burn than H2:O2 gas. Thus,
Brown gas burns at low temperature. This increases the efficiency of the generator. Brown gas is common ducted
oxy-hydrogen; it can be produced in a common ducted electrolyzer which is made by stainless steel; it avoid
corrosion due to water. Hydrogen produced by using simple electrolysis process is not sufficient to run the engine.
To resolve this problem a special electrolysis technique will be apply, which is shown in figure.

SIZING OF A GENERATOR
If the set is required for 100% standby, then the entire connected load in W/VA should be added. After finding out
the diversity factor, the correct capacity of a set can be found out.
For a new installation, an approximate method of estimating the capacity of a set is to add full load currents of all
the proposed loads to be run in set. Then, applying a diversity factor depending on the home, process involved and
guidelines obtained from other similar units, correct capacity can be arrived at.
Example :
Connected Load = 1000W
Diversity Factor = 0.54
(Demand / connected load)
Max. Demand = 1000 x 0.54 = 540 W
% Loading = 70
Set rating = 540/0.7 = 772 W
At 0.8 PF, rating = 928VA
VA Rating = VA / Load Factor
Where Load factor = Average VA / Maximum VA
The average speed of engine is 1500 rpm.
Fuel required per hour is 0.8 liter. For 0.8 liter of water it will produce 3.2-3.5 kWh energy. Since water is recycled
back so its efficiency will be maximum.

A HOST OF MERITS CAN BE MEASURED OUT OF USING BROWN GAS TECHNOLOGY:-
1] This technology save minimum 70-80% fuel cost and provides approximate double mileage to run the generator.
2] It does not escape any harmful gases like CO, CO2 and SO2.
3] It is immediate solution to produce electricity at home with less expense.
4] Water used as fuel is no danger and difficult to storage.
5] There is no requirement of power station and grids.
6] Country can save money on producing electricity.
7] It removes carbon deposits in generator engine and prevents future carbon built up. Hence, engine runs with
smoother capacities and that too in noiseless condition.
8] Generator parts, especially piston, valves, piston rings, liner rings, bearing get longer life.
ADVANTAGE OVER THE EXISTING GENERATOR IS AS FOLLOW:-
a) It does not escape any harmful gas like CO, CO2 and SO2.
b) It is immediate solution on increase of Ozone holes, pollution, global warming and oil war.
c) There is no requirement of gas stations and petrol pumps.
d) Engine parts, especially piston valves, piston rings, liner ring, bearing get longer life and it runs with smoother
capacity and that too in noiseless conditions.
e) Country can save money on fuel.
DEMERITS OF BROWN GAS TECHNOLOGY:-
A host of disadvantages too is there for using this Technology, and these are as follows:-
1] Initial cost of generator is high.
2] This project may fail in desert areas like Rajasthan and Egypt.
3] A local mechanics is required to stop and run the generator when electricity will be needed.
FUTURE REASERACH OPPORTUNITIES
Extensive research on following areas is required to minimize the disadvantages:-
1] This system should be mixed with non-conventional energy systemfor hybrid water automobile so that it can run
in dry areas too.
2] Research is needed to minimize the Brown Gas Generator size.

CONCLUSION
Based on the discussion above, following inference can be drawn:-
1] Water fuel is the immediate solution on world’s problem facing for Electricity.
2] Water energy is efficient than Oil energy.
3] As Brown gas is produced on demand, it is free from hazards.
4] It saves money that can increase the National Economic Growth.
The above text implies that, water as a fuel play a major role to change the economy of the world. Since it has many
applications as, the fuel cell purportedly split water into its component elements, hydrogen and oxygen. The
hydrogen was then burned to generate energy, a process that reconstituted the water molecules. According to Meyer,
the device required less energy to perform electrolysis than the minimum energy requirement predicted or measured
by conventional science.
For awareness about this fact that, all the country must have to know the importance of water because they
don’t know the implementation of it that’s why all the country must be organized and try to use as soon as possible.
Our country (India) also has to give the contribution in this field and with the great scope in future, Indian needs to
work hard in this field.

Price of Petroleum oils are increases day-by-day, affecting the lifestyle of common people as well as the national economy. Hence it is necessary to have alternative for petroleum oil. Water can be used as a fuel in the form of Brown’s Gas, so we have a plan to produce a Generator which works on Brown’s Gas which is obtained by the electrolysis of water. It will be a unique type of Generator so it has huge market potential. Now–a-days every country spends a lot of money on research and development on non-conventional energy resources. In world, the conventional energy sources are limited and their consumption is very high, so alternative sources of energy have tremendous potential in future. Nobody will think for a moment but it is reality that water can be used as electricity producing agent, and hence as an energy resources. It is good news for environmentalists as It is made from water, depending upon the set-up; it burns into combustion engine and releases oxygen into atmosphere. This method increases the oxygen content in the atmosphere, which helps to solve environment degradation. Hence, this new successful technology can be called as Green technology. Since Electricity is one of the important energy resources. It is available at very limited places and consumption is much more. This causes war for electricity which is not new for civilization but by this technology war can be overcome or may be ended soo n KEYWORDS:- Brown Gas, Electrolysis, Electrolyzer, Green Technology, Connected Load, Set rating etc. INTRODUCTION Now–a-days every country is spending a lot of money on research and development on non-conventional energy resources. In world, the conventional energy sources are limited and their consumption is very high, so alternative sources of energy have tremendous potential in future. Nobody will think for a moment but it is reality that water can be used as a electricity producing agent, and hence as an energy resources. It is good news for environmentalists. Hence, this new successful technology is known as Green technology. Oxy-hydrogen is a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same proportion as water. This gaseous mixture is used for torches for the processing of refractory materials and was the first gaseous mixture used for welding. In practice a ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 hydrogen: oxygen is required to avoid an oxidizing flame. NEED OF ALTERNATIVE IDEA TO PRODUCE ELECTRICITY FROM WATER The earth’s environment is experiencing tremendous problems at present, a few of them are given below:- 1] Electricity is one of the important energy resources. It is available at very limited places and consumption is much more. This causes war for electricity which is not new for civilization. 2] Limited availability and higher demand of electricity is increasing its price day-by-day. It also affects the world economy. 3] Serious problems like, water level decreasing day-by-day, Global warming and Ozone hole are increasing.

International Journal of Research In Science & Engineering e-ISSN: 2394-8299 Volume: 1 Issue: 2 p-ISSN: 2394-8280 IJRISE| www.ijrise.org|editor@ijrise.org [26-31] POTENTIALITY OF WATER To fulfill the need as mentioned above and also to resolve the problems as stated non-conventional energy system like, Solar battery, etc are developed. In water, two parts of Hydrogen are present. As Hydrogen is an excellent fuel, water molecule possesses tremendous amount of energy. Water can be dissociated into its elements by electrolysis by the following equation 2H2O+ELECTROLYSIS = 2H2+O2 (Brown’s gas) Hydrogen is an important fuel as it burns totally. This Hydrogen gas along with the Oxygen gas makes Brown gas, which is also a most power fuel which can produce electricity at HOME. PREPARATION OF BROWN GAS This is the most perfect fuel for running the entire Generator which produces electricity. It is made from water, depending upon the set-up; it burns into combustion engine and releases oxygen into atmosphere. This method increases the oxygen content in the atmosphere, which helps to solve environment degradation. As Brown gas is more efficient and can be solve the environmental problems. 2H2O+ELECTROLYSIS = 2H2+O2 (Brown’s gas) WORKING OF GENERATOR In this generator, electrolysis is done in parallel plate electrolyzer. Electricity from battery is used to split water into its element of Hydrogen and Oxygen, mixture gas which is known as “Brown Gas”. It displaces more volume than normal diatomic constituents H2:O2. Temperature, pressure and process are controlled by control unit. Oxygen and hydrogen produced by electrolysis are mixed with water. A milky white solution comes out at the end of electrolysis as shown in figure. This solution goes into separator unit which separates Brown gas from water. Water from separator unit is recycled back to electrolysis device to reuse. Brown’s gas escaped from the separator enters into engine through intake manifold. One liter of water = 1866.6 liters of Brown gas (2H2:O2) One liter of water = 933.3 liters of H2:O2 gas Brown gas is a simplest and highest atomic form and hence less energy is required to burn than H2:O2 gas. Thus, Brown gas burns at low temperature. This increases the efficiency of the generator. Brown gas is common ducted oxy-hydrogen; it can be produced in a common ducted electrolyzer which is made by stainless steel; it avoid corrosion due to water. Hydrogen produced by using simple electrolysis process is not sufficient to run the engine. To resolve this problem a special electrolysis technique will be apply, which is shown in figure.

After finding out the diversity factor, the correct capacity of a set can be found out. For a new installation, an approximate method of estimating the capacity of a set is to add full load currents of all the proposed loads to be run in set. Then, applying a diversity factor depending on the home, process involved and guidelines obtained from other similar units, correct capacity can be arrived at. Example : Connected Load = 1000W Diversity Factor = 0.54 (Demand / connected load) Max. Demand = 1000 x 0.54 = 540 W % Loading = 70 Set rating = 540/0.7 = 772 W At 0.8 PF, rating = 928VA VA Rating = VA / Load Factor Where Load factor = Average VA / Maximum VA The average speed of engine is 1500 rpm. Fuel required per hour is 0.8 liter. For 0.8 liter of water it will produce 3.2-3.5 kWh energy. Since water is recycled back so its efficiency will be maximum.

Hence, engine runs with smoother capacities and that too in noiseless condition. 8] Generator parts, especially piston, valves, piston rings, liner rings, bearing get longer life. ADVANTAGE OVER THE EXISTING GENERATOR IS AS FOLLOW:- a) It does not escape any harmful gas like CO, CO2 and SO2. b) It is immediate solution on increase of Ozone holes, pollution, global warming and oil war. c) There is no requirement of gas stations and petrol pumps. d) Engine parts, especially piston valves, piston rings, liner ring, bearing get longer life and it runs with smoother capacity and that too in noiseless conditions. e) Country can save money on fuel. DEMERITS OF BROWN GAS TECHNOLOGY:- A host of disadvantages too is there for using this Technology, and these are as follows:- 1] Initial cost of generator is high. 2] This project may fail in desert areas like Rajasthan and Egypt. 3] A local mechanics is required to stop and run the generator when electricity will be needed. FUTURE REASERACH OPPORTUNITIES Extensive research on following areas is required to minimize the disadvantages:- 1] This system should be mixed with non-conventional energy systemfor hybrid water automobile so that it can run in dry areas too. 2] Research is needed to minimize the Brown Gas Generator size.

International Journal of Research In Science & Engineering e-ISSN: 2394-8299 Volume: 1 Issue: 2 p-ISSN: 2394-8280 IJRISE| www.ijrise.org|editor@ijrise.org [26-31] CONCLUSION Based on the discussion above, following inference can be drawn:- 1] Water fuel is the immediate solution on world’s problem facing for Electricity. 2] Water energy is efficient than Oil energy. 3] As Brown gas is produced on demand, it is free from hazards. 4] It saves money that can increase the National Economic Growth. The above text implies that, water as a fuel play a major role to change the economy of the world. Since it has many applications as, the fuel cell purportedly split water into its component elements, hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen was then burned to generate energy, a process that reconstituted the water molecules. According to Meyer, the device required less energy to perform electrolysis than the minimum energy requirement predicted or measured by conventional science. For awareness about this fact that, all the country must have to know the importance of water because they don’t know the implementation of it that’s why all the country must be organized and try to use as soon as possible. Our country (India) also has to give the contribution in this field and with the great scope in future, Indian needs to work hard in this field. AKNOWLEDGEMENTS I would like to thanks Late M.
