4. Vision Statement
HyEnergy Technologies recognizes that the world is facing its
worst energy and environmental crisis and all of us have a
duty to ensure that newer resources are developed which are
economically viable and environment-friendly.
Accordingly
• HyEnergy will endeavor to develop new techniques to
reduce use of fossil fuel with an environmentally
sustainable alternative.
• HyEnergy will continue research and development activity
to use water as a source of hydrogen and completely
replace fossil fuel.
4
5. Mission Statement
To develop ways to promote hydrogen from electrolysis of
water as cleaner, greener and cheaper source of fuel and
establish it as an alternative to fossil fuel.
5
6. Need
• Fuel prices have increased substantially in past few years on
the fears of depleting natural reserves, international
politics, vested interests of oil companies and are expected to
remain high until a new source of energy is developed and
dependence on fossil fuel is reduced.
• Emission gases produced from burning of fossil fuel and its
resultant effects have become a major threat to the human
health and environment.
• Fossil fuel supply chain is being controlled by a few countries
and any change in their relationship with the rest of the
world, brings hardships to the common people across the
world. Survival of the poor is challenged which leads to social
unrest.
6
7. The Solution
• Our product named HyGen increases mileage of a vehicle
upto 20%-40% making it cheaper to drive a vehicle. It also
reduces emission gases upto 50% subject to the grade of the
fuel and condition of the engine.
• HyGen runs off electricity generated by vehicle's electrical
system and consumes only water to produce Hydrogen and
Oxygen on board from electrolysis of water. Hydrogen being a
very energetic element, when injected into the engine, acts as
an efficiency enhancer to burn the fossil fuel completely
thereby releasing more energy per unit and less of un-burnt
NOx, COx and other hazardous elements.
7
8. Advantages
• All engines and industrial processes currently consuming fossil
fuel like petrol, diesel, coal, etc. Hence, industrial applications
like automobiles, diesel power generators, thermal power
plants (coal, natural
gas), furnaces, boilers, welding, cutting, polishing, fuel
cells, metal hydride batteries, energy storage (solar/ wind to
hydrogen) etc. are prime beneficiary of this technology.
• Higher Energy Efficiency can be achieved with all the engines
currently running off the fossil fuel at negligible operating
costs by using this technology.
8
9. Advantages
• Reduction in emission gases can be achieved upto 40% with
current level of technology, which can further increase with
further advancements in the technology.
• Water being the only input, this technology can be open-
sourced to reach the benefits to the people at the bottom of
the pyramid across the world.
• Conservation of energy and environmental protection are the
by-products of using this technology which offers a
cheaper, economically viable option to fossil fuel.
9
10. The Impact
Environmental
• Reduces Local air pollution
• Concern for global climate change
Economic
• Better Energy Efficiency
• Reduces Public health costs
• Carbon trading
10
11. The Impact
Energy independence & renewable energy
• Push to end dependence on oil
• Fortify ourselves from external impact through supply crisis
Distributed, onsite production
• No distribution requirements
• On-site storage requirements subject to rate of production and
required rate of dispensing
11
12. Current Status
During 2011-12, we grossed about Rs. 7.6Lacs from the sales of our
products :
Existing 2 and 3wheeler owners are main customer for the product
that we have developed for scooters, bikes and 3wheel vehicles with
engine size smaller than 350cc.
Due to lack of Hydrogen-specific legislation in place in India, we sell
bigger systems for cars and truck and power generators to foreign
customers only.
Executed trial order successfully for welding application.
12
13. Case Study
Our product helps to save upto 35% of fuel bill and reduce hazardous
emission gases upto 50%. Here are some actual results submitted by
customers.
Dr. Hebbar - Homeopathic Consultant and Asst. Professor at a Medical
college in Mysore claimed an increase in mileage to 12kmpl from
7.5kmpl. Gain of about 60% using this technology. He finds noticeable
difference in engine power and exhaust gases. View the product at:

Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan of Chennai, achieved whopping 40kmpl i.e.
57% gain on his Bajaj CT100 bike, which averaged ~70kmpl before
installation. View the product at:
