2. Logo
Artist/Band: Last Dinosaurs
This logo is effective in that it looks to be a design,
it’s only when you look closer you can actually see
white lines make up the band’s name. Enclosed in a
black circle is also effective as the use of geometric
shapes is often linked with ‘indie’ bands, so this
would help to appeal to the target audience.
What is interesting to note is that the logo is not
consistently used. Unlike Ed Sheeran, who’s logo
the orange paw print is seen on all albums,
website, merchandise and even his guitar; this logo
for the Last Dinosaurs is not. I think that the brand
could be made stronger if this logo was used more
often.

It’s interesting to see that the logo is not
present on the digipak. I’m not sure why this is
as it would create a stronger brand identity for
the band

Purple, blue and pink are colours

5. Logo
Artist: Ed Sheeran
The paw print is a symbol which is used throughout Ed
Sheeran’s products, creating strong branding. This, combined
with his ‘trademark’ orange shade is a very distinctive symbol
which is instantly recognisable and therefore very successful
The ‘logo’ ‘Ed Sheeran’ contains the paw at
the end and is always written in the
typewrite style font. It’s simple, yet effective
and is branded on all of his products.
6. Digipak
Name of album is ‘Plus’ so
the plus sign in the
bottom corner shows this
very simply.
