For media coursework

1. Our website
(At the point of first draft)

2. Our website has many purposes, the main being connecting with the fans
and audience of Soraya. We have added many links, to our social media,
store and merchandise and events to show the audience how they can get
involved with upcoming events. We have also created a gallery to show all
the photos we take and edit of Soraya.
Further in this presentation are some screenshots from our site so far, we
chose this layout as we liked the links it gave us at the top of the
website. We liked the simple layout as we need something easy to work
with and the audience would not like a complex layout. We needed to
consider text and images too which was also suitable with this site.

3. Home
As a home
background we
have used the
main albums
image. We have
used this image
as it shows the
colour and look
of our artist
straight away as
the whole theme
is purple with
similar photos
shown here.
We have used links on the main page such as
amazon, iTunes and store as quick links for the
audience.

4. News
The news page
shows any
updates we
have such as
the release date
for the album.
We also have
a link to the
interview for
MTV which is
also under
videos on the
website.

5. Music
Under music we haven’t
added much at this stage
but it will have all the
tracks under the album of
our song.
We have also added a
link to iTunes.

6. Events
Under events, after looking
up about different indie
venues we have three of
the next locations on the
tour. By clicking on the
location name, this takes
you to the website for that
venue. On the right you
can then buy the tickets.

7. The Gallery
The image shows the gallery from
our website. We have three
images on one page then to see
the others the arrows at the
bottom right navigate you. To get
to the gallery you can click the
'gallery' link at the top of the
page which will take you to that
page.

8. Videos
We have added the
interview to the video
page from MTV where
Soraya is asked a few
questions on the song
and video. We will add
any other interviews
and the final music
video when it is
complete.

9. Sign up
The sign up page is
for emails for updates
for the audience. If
fans of Soraya want
to receive updates
from shows and
events they can sign
up to the site and
submit their email
address.

10. The store
This screenshot shows the
store link which shows all
of our merchandise which is
where the audience can buy
these products from. So far
we have four final products
finished and two in the
process of being made. I
have added prices to each
item and each item can be
edited to be in or out of
stock and can be added to
a basket also shown in
orange at the top right of
the page.
