2. Ideologies
The ideologies of my product , Haribo marshmallows is
that is loveable , soft and dreamy. It’s also represented
as a fluffy cloud and squidgy treat.
3. Primary target
audience
The target audience is aimed at children aged 8
onwards. The secondary target audience will be
parents because it’s not only aimed at children
and teenagers. The social class is C1 because it
could be for anyone. The lifestyle category that
my product is aimed at is Drifters.
4. Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs
Referring to Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs my
product will be categorised in the physiological
needs. The reason why it is put into that category is
because all the things in physiological needs are
for ordinary things that we need to live etc. food
, water and breathing. This all is targeting my
audience which is ordinary people over 6 years old.
5. Persuasive Techniques
The persuasive techniques that I will use to attract
my audience is the colour and pictures using
humour . It will be easy to persuade children
because children want things that look interesting
and different etc. warm and fuzzy. And catchy
slogans. To persuade the parents I will have to put
in something that will attract them to know it is safe
for their children and suitable for their age these
are intertexual references. I will also have to
contribute teenagers so I will have to include
something that teenagers are fond of beautiful
people. When I am making my example advert I
will produce it for only category of my target
audience.
