Human Resources:
• Hired, trained, and led employees resulting in the "Best Places to
Work" award - Hawaii Business Magazine - 2011. Developed employee
retention program minimizing the costly effects of employee turnover.
Developed a cross-training program to assure employees had a 360
degrees vision of the organization while improving services quality.
Cost Management:
• Articulated a cost reduction plan to enhance the organization financial
condition through business partnerships resulting in increased asset
utilization. Renegotiated contracts in order to reduce overheads
expenses while improving services.
Operations Management:
• Designed, planned, and executed the new Mililani campus project in
2011 resulting in an inviting and modern learning environment.
• Implemented information technology solutions to integrate the
organization's 7 locations on Oahu to enhance productivity,

Accounting Audit:
• Initiated accounting audit process to investigate accounts receivables
issues recovering $300,000 that were considered lost in 2003.
Started Campus Bookstore:
• Created business plan to implement bookstore services at the Hawaii
campus students. Developed the bookstore database in Microsoft
Access application. Incorporated textbooks buyback program and
textbook rental program.
Enhanced the Campus Testing Center:
• Develop business plan to incorporate additional testing platform at at
the Hawaii campus testing center. Incorporated testing platforms
such as Pearson Vue, Praxis, CLEP, Castle iBT, MCAT, Accuplacer,
and TOEFL exams were incorporated in the testing center.

• Promoted to Assistant Executive Director in 2007. Position reports
directly to Executive Director. Directly involved in the campus' overall
strategic planning, operations management, military bases operations
management, Mililani facility management, student affairs, faculty
support, business office, financial aid office, bookstore, testing center,
and U.S. Veterans' benefits office. Student affairs duties include
delivering university introductory courses, application for graduation
processes, academic advising, and assisting to solve student/faculty
issues. Financial management duties included revenue/expense
forecasting, facility improvements projects, and cash-flow
management. Strategic planning includes marketing strategies,
customer services, and faculty/staff professional development.
Hire/maintain staff of 22. Hawaii campus' liaison to local accrediting
agencies, local associations, 6 U.S. military bases on Oahu, U.S.
Coast Guard, and other federal/state agencies.
• Promoted to the Operations Manager in 2005. Overseeing all
aspects of campus operations in regard to processes related to
admissions, students' accounts, students' payments, VA benefits,
federal financial aid, military tuition assistance programs, and military
branches' tuition assistance processing systems such as GoArmyEd,
AFEAMS, and Navy College Management Information System.
• Promoted to Financial Manager in 2003. Overseeing the campus
operating budget finances, accounting control systems, students

assistance processes, federal financial aid, and VA benefits
processes.
